Sub-Contract Packing
We offer a complete device sub-contract packing service, including product assembly, pack design, automated or hand packing and sterilisation management. Our packing equipment includes high-speed Doyen HDW and 4SS machines and thermoforming plant.
Sub-contract packing takes place under strict quality control procedures and systems in our 5,000 sq ft Clean Room facility which is specified to operate at ISO Class 7 (FS 209E Class 10,000) classification, in accordance with International Standard ISO 14644-1:1999.
We have experience of sterile packing a large selection of items for our sub contract partners - including medical dressings (adhesive, foam and alginate types), hydrogel products, orthopaedic implants, examination gloves and a variety of single-use dental, procedure kits and medical instruments.

Sterilisation
Sterilisation is sub-contracted to specific ISO accredited companies. The most common method used is Gamma, but we can also arrange for sterilisation by Steam, Ethylene Oxide or E-Beam, where suitable. If required, we can help customers choose the most suitable sterilisation route and can offer assistance with necessary sterilisation and packaging validations.
